This was our first Taj Safari experience and Pench has raised the bar quite high. We stayed here 3N 4D, did 4 safari's , saw one of the best jungles along with the best naturalists Taj has and we sighted all the animals there were to see - we saw 5 tigers, 2 leopards and the list continues. Santosh, our naturalist was knowledgeable, friendly and we were so glad he accompanied us on all the drives. Aakash, the manager THANK YOU :) You and your team in Pench - am forgetting the names now - Raj, Rohit , Shyam, Guru , am forgetting the name of the chef and the people who did room service - everyone of them is so caring, smiling and willing to help. Of all the Taj trips we have done, this will rank the highest. Food was excellent - everything we ordered and the care taken to prepare it was really nice. The Machan experience was out of the world, never experienced anything like that. I also highly recommend the sunset drive at Kokka Lake. The team at Taj did a nice job of arranging a small evening snack by the lake side as we saw the sun go down - it was indeed beautiful. Your team made the trip memorable for us and we will always cherish these in years to come. A very heartfelt thank you to one and all at Taj Baghvan Pench.

Great team, super accommodation with Machan bed. The food was awesome - to get five star service in the jungle is exceptional. The entire team from the Manager to the cleaning staff were really good. Jungle safari guides were knowledgeable and went out of their way to give us a five star experience. We are definitely going back!

If you wish to pamper yourself deep in the jungle, then head to Taj Baghvan. Everything from the approach with clear signages, the welcome & warm greetings, the stay, food, safari makes you realize why this is one of the most premium hotel chains across the world. We had an amazing stay, all thanks to the team at Taj led by Akash. Special mentions to Raj, Shyam who were simply superb with their service. Need to mention a couple of experiences that stood out for us. First, the game safari where we lucky to have some rare sightings including the T53, a close to 200 kg male tiger. In addition we saw albino sambar, wild boars, wild dogs and gaurs up close. The naturalist, Santosh, provided by Taj was extremely knowledgeable and had great temperament to talk us through the safari, his experiences and journey. Second, the special dinner by the butler team was a beautiful experience while also being a cause for the nature. The area was beautifully done up with a live counter set up and some delectable local cuisine by Kanhaiyalal & the other chefs. All in all, a very lovely stay and one that makes you want to go back to experience it all.

We were celebrating a milestone occasion and with the special efforts of the entire team at Baghvan, Pench it turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable and a most memorable experience. The team at Taj took great pains to ensure that my 14 guests were pampered and spoilt to no end. Right from the naturalists who were very informative and helpful during the safari drives, to the chef and his team serving us exquisite food at every meal, there was nothing more that we could have asked for at the hotel. The only thing which could have been better was the quality of the transport for the safari drives and also the bus travel to and fro organised by the hotel which was sub- standard. One of our jeeps had a breakdown during the safari drive in the middle of the jungle and even the bus from Nagpur to Pench and back was not very hygienic and comfortable for the journey. Other than that there were no hiccups during our wonderful stay at the hotel.

Right from the word go, the holiday experience with Taj was nothing short of excellent. We had the entire team make us feel at home, and their attention to detail was outstanding. Through 3 days of care and camaraderie, we felt surrounded by family and friends rather than as staying at a safari lodge. The naturalists were par excellence with a deep knowledge of the forests and an even deeper respect for its denizens and the people who make a living off the land here like the forest guards. Without their empathy, these forests wouldn’t survive. The staff were always courteous even if you weren’t dealing with them and they continuously had surprises in store for us. The Tata way and the Tak brand are apparent and enjoyed at Baghvan.
